Contract: B2B Rate: 160 - 250 PLN/h net+VAT Location: Remote within Poland Project: Building vertical AI solutions for a UK financial services organisation Key Technologies • LLM & Agentic AI Systems • AI Architecture & Orchestration • AWS (Cloud-Native, Event-Driven) • Python / Node.js • Distributed Systems • AI Governance & Compliance Project Overview You’ll be joining a high-growth AI FinTech building production-grade AI systems for the financial services industry — a highly regulated environment where reliability, explainability, and compliance are critical. The company already has live, scaling products and is now focused on expanding into agent-based AI, including guidance agents and multi-model architectures. In this role, you’ll take ownership of how these systems are designed at scale — from defining architecture for agentic platforms and proprietary AI solutions, to ensuring they can be safely deployed within large financial institutions. You’ll work directly with senior engineers, AI researchers, and leadership, influencing key technical decisions at a stage where the architecture is still evolving. A big part of the role also involves working with enterprise clients: designing deployment architectures, supporting adoption, and helping technical stakeholders understand how AI systems operate in practice. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you’re expected to balance innovation with real-world constraints like regulation, security, and production readiness. Responsibilities • Design and evolve architectural patterns for next-generation AI products, including agent-based solutions and frameworks supporting regulated financial processes, with a strong focus on safety, transparency, and compliance. • Work closely with senior engineers across product teams to turn platform capabilities into scalable, well-structured product architectures, promoting consistency and reuse across solutions. • Act as a lead AI Solutions Architect for enterprise clients, creating deployment architectures, facilitating technical workshops, and supporting pre-sales activities to enable successful adoption in large financial organisations. • Partner with research and innovation teams to turn prototypes and experimental work into production-ready solutions, while collaborating with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure robust AI observability and operational readiness. • Establish and drive AI architecture standards and governance across the organisation, contributing to the overall technical strategy in collaboration with senior leadership, including the CTO. • Ensure all architectural decisions align with security, compliance, and regulatory expectations, particularly within the financial services domain. • Stay up to date with advancements in AI and agent-based systems, and proactively incorporate forward-looking insights into the evolution of the company’s architecture. Requirements • 12+ years of experience in software engineering or AI/ML, including significant time spent in architectural roles across both platform and solution design. • Strong hands-on experience designing and building systems powered by LLM and agent-based architectures, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and safe production use. • Proven track record of working with enterprise clients in a technical or solution architecture capacity, including leading architecture workshops, defining deployment strategies, and collaborating with senior technical stakeholders. • Solid understanding of cloud-native and event-driven system design, particularly within AWS environments. • Practical programming experience in Python and/or Node.js, especially in the context of AI-driven applications. • Good understanding of AI governance, compliance, and regulatory considerations, with the ability to apply responsible AI principles in real-world, especially regulated, environments. • Strong interest in emerging AI trends and technologies, with the ability to translate forward-looking ideas into pragmatic architectural decisions. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document complex systems and confidently present technical concepts to both engineering teams and executive-level stakeholders.
