AI Engineer (NLP/DocAI)

AI / Machine Learning Engineer – Onboarding & KYC(x1-2 days per week in office) We’re expanding our global Onboarding & Know Your Customer (OBKYC) technology group and looking for an experienced AI / Machine Learning Engineer to help build next‑generation onboarding and KYC solutions used by millions of customers worldwide. You’ll join a modern, agile, globally distributed team driving a major AI transformation across the bank. This is a Poland‑based role working with international teams. What you’ll do • Build and deploy production‑ready AI/ML models for document intelligence, including content extraction, classification, NLP, OCR, and GenAI use cases. • Work closely with business and product teams to design and iterate AI‑powered features. • Develop ML components in Python using modern ML/NLP/OCR frameworks. • Support the full model lifecycle: development, deployment, monitoring, and production support. • Ensure all solutions meet strong standards for security, resilience, and safe deployment. What you’ll bring • Strong hands‑on experience in Document AI / Intelligent Document Processing, including both traditional ML and Generative AI. • Proven ability to deliver Python-based ML solutions into production. • Experience with frameworks like: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, spaCy, OpenCV, regex or similar. • Good understanding of secure coding, API resilience, and production‑grade engineering. Nice to have • Experience with PostgreSQL. • Familiarity with Azure (VMs, AKS, Azure CLI, DevOps). • Experience working in fast-paced, high‑cadence delivery teams.
