AI Technical Lead

AI Technical Lead We are seeking an experienced AI Technical Lead to design, build, and deploy next-generation AI solutions leveraging Azure AI, MongoDB Atlas, and modern GenAI architectures. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with technical leadership across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities • Architect and deliver GenAI applications using Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, OCR, and Azure cloud services • Design scalable knowledge retrieval pipelines using LangChain, RAG/CAG architectures, vector search technologies, and MongoDB Atlas • Develop and deploy AI agents with autonomous planning, decision-making, and tool-use capabilities • Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices, security standards, and solution reliability • Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end teams to integrate AI services into production systems • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices (e.g., GitHub Copilot) • Ensure high-performance, scalable, and cloud-native AI solutions Required Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience within the Azure AI ecosystem • Proficiency in Python and modern DevOps/MLOps practices • Experience with LangChain, RAG/CAG architectures, chunking & embeddings • Expertise in vector search technologies (MongoDB Atlas preferred) • Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, JSON, markup languages • Strong knowledge of Docker / containerized environments • Experience designing large-scale AI applications and document processing workflows • Familiarity with PostgreSQL • Strong communication skills and experience guiding multidisciplinary teams Nice to Have • Familiarity with MCP • Experience with Azure SDKs • Exposure to Factory AI or similar AI engineering tooling
