The company builds advanced AI-driven platforms and consulting solutions supporting high-growth businesses and private capital markets. With over a decade of experience, our client combines proprietary technology, cloud platforms, and AI-native enterprise systems to optimize operations, generate insights, and accelerate value creation. The Role We are looking for an experienced Director of AI to lead the architecture, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role requiring deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), traditional ML approaches, and strong Python engineering skills. You will work cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable, production-grade AI solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement AI/ML architectures (LLMs + traditional ML models) • Develop scalable and high-performance AI solutions • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tools and frameworks • Build and oversee robust data pipelines for training and inference • Ensure alignment between AI systems and business objectives • Drive AI governance, monitoring, and model optimization • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams • Promote AI adoption across the organization • Communicate AI strategy and business value to stakeholders • Foster innovation and continuous learning within AI teams Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field • Proven experience delivering AI/ML solutions into production • Strong expertise in LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLaMA) and traditional ML methods • Advanced Python proficiency • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Familiarity with MLOps tools • Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, SQL, and NoSQL • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have • Experience with NLP, chatbots, or computer vision • Knowledge of vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) • Understanding of AI security, privacy, and regulatory compliance • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines  What’s Offered • Contract of Employment (Umowa o Pracę) • Monthly compensation up to 15,000 USD (approx. 52,000 PLN) • Hybrid work model (minimum 3 days/week in Warsaw office) • Strong career growth opportunities in a global fintech environment • High-impact AI projects in a fast-growing sector • Exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies and enterprise-scale platforms • Collaborative, ambitious, and international team culture • Real strategic influence on AI direction and innovation
