Their portfolio includes display technologies, mobile and wearable devices, smart appliances, and renewable energy solutions.They are launching a major AI initiative to develop advanced Reasoning Multimodal Large Language Models (LLMs)—capable of processing and reasoning across text, images, and audio for real-world industrial applications Junior Researcher – Large Language Models (LLMs) • Location: 1st year in Shenzhen (China), then remote from your home country (preferably in Central or Eastern Europe) • Type: Full-time, Contract of Employment • Salary: Negotiable • Languages: English (required) • Relocation support included 🔍 About the Role As a Junior Researcher, you’ll participate in cutting-edge AI research and receive hands-on training during a 12-month assignment at the company’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China. After the first year, you’ll continue your work remotely from your home country, preferably within Central or Eastern Europe. ✅ Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking early-career professionals with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for AI: • Graduates or postgraduates from top technical universities in Europe (especially in CEE) • Background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or related fields • Strong academic achievements; participation in programming or science competitions (e.g., Olympiads, ACM ICPC, Kaggle) is a plus Foundational understanding of: • Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing • Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar • High motivation to relocate for 12 months to China and work in a multicultural, fast-paced R&D environment • Solid English skills and a collaborative mindset 💼 What You’ll Do • Collaborate with international teams to develop and test LLM-based solutions • Assist in research and prototyping of AI tools in NLP, generative AI, and related fields • Contribute to data preparation, model training, evaluation, and optimization • Learn from experienced researchers and gradually take on more independent responsibilities 🌍 What the Client Offers • First-hand experience in one of the most advanced AI labs in the world • A structured path to grow into a research or technical leadership role • Return to work remotely from your home country after the initial training year • Competitive salary and full relocation support
