ML Engineer

For one of our Clients — a leading marketplace platform operating at large scale and serving millions of active users monthly — we are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join a data-driven, product-focused environment. The company works with massive datasets and advanced ML solutions to improve product discovery, ranking, and recommendations, with a strong focus on business impact and user experience. You will work on: • Designing, training, and deploying ranking and recommendation models(e.g. learning-to-rank, collaborative filtering, two-tower recommendation systems) • Building and optimizing NLP models(text classification, information extraction, embeddings) • Integrating and using modern ML libraries and frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and LangGraph • Working with large-scale datasets • Optimizing models for effectiveness, scalability, and performance • Monitoring ML models in production, continuous evaluation, and iterative improvement We are looking for someone who: • Has at least 3 years of experience in building and deploying ML models in production environments • Has hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, as well as Hugging Face and LangChain • Has strong knowledge of NLP, including transformer architectures (e.g. BERT, MiniLM) • Has worked on recommendation systems, ranking models, and ML optimization driven by business metrics • Works with JavaScript or TypeScript and builds ML solutions compatible with this tech stack • Thinks analytically and can critically assess the business impact of deployed models • Has experience with experimentation and monitoring tools(e.g. MLflow, Neptune, TensorBoard, Prometheus) • Has experience in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) and understands the basics ofcontainerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Communicates clearly and can explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders What we offer: • Long-term cooperation in a stable, product-oriented organization • 100% remote work (from Poland) • Work in a product company with real influence on business outcomes • Participation in large-scale, data-intensive projects • Opportunity to grow within ML, recommendation systems, and applied AI 📌 Please note: only selected candidates will be contacted.
