At Jacobs, our Digital & Data Hub in Kraków is continuing to grow as a key part of our global organization. We are building enterprise‑scale AI and data platforms that support advanced analytics and GenAI solutions across highly regulated and data sensitive domains such as Government, Financial Services, Infrastructure, Energy, and Health. We are now seeking a Senior AI/Data Platform Engineer with a strong focus on privacy first data handling, PII protection, and Azure based data platforms. The primary focus of this role is designing and operating secure, scalable Azure AI data platforms that enable advanced AI and GenAI use cases while ensuring robust governance, privacy, and compliance at enterprise scale.This is a hands‑on role that blends modern AI data engineering with strong principles of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.  Responsibilities 1. Privacy‑first AI data platforms (primary focus) • Design and operate Azure‑based data platforms supporting AI, ML, and GenAI workloads • Implement privacy by design architectures for handling PII and sensitive data • Apply data classification, masking, tokenization, anonymization, and access‑control strategies • Ensure compliance with GDPR and enterprise data governance standards  2. AI & GenAI enablement • Enable GenAI use cases (RAG, semantic search, AI assistants) on governed and secured data • Implement secure data access patterns for LLMs and agent‑based workflows • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to ensure models can safely operate on sensitive datasets • Support vector search and embedding pipelines with strong security boundaries  3.
