The project focuses on building scalable data pipelines and AI integrations that transform structured and unstructured data into meaningful insights, powering search, recommendation, and intelligent automation use cases across the organization.   What you'll be doing • Design and implement integrations with Google Vertex AI (APIs, SDKs, pipelines) • Integrate Vertex AI with enterprise systems and search layers (Vertex AI Search, Vector Search, Gemini API) • Extract, transform, and normalize data for AI model consumption (products, categories, content, metadata) • Build data processing pipelines (batch and near real-time) feeding Vertex AI models • Collaborate with teams responsible for intranet and source systems • Define data models for search and AI use cases (indexing schemas, embeddings, feature engineering) • Optimize model outputs and search quality (relevance, ranking, filtering) • Monitor integrations and models, handle production incidents • Contribute to integration architecture design (API-first, event-driven) Expected competences and knowledge • Experience working with Google Vertex AI (APIs, SDKs, Model Garden, pipelines) or a comparable ML platform (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML) • Strong knowledge of system integration using REST and/or GraphQL APIs • Experience in building data connectors or integration systems • Understanding of data modeling (JSON, event schemas, mapping) • Basic knowledge of search systems (e.g. enterprise search, indexing, embeddings) • Proficiency in Python (preferred for the Vertex AI ecosystem) or JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js • Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architecture • Experience working in Agile environments Technologies you'll work with • Google Vertex AI • REST • GraphQL APIs • Python   Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
