Contract: B2B Salary: 140–190 PLN/h net/B2B Location: Remote within Poland Start: ASAP Key Technologies • Python • Machine Learning • LLM • SQL • REST API • Cloud environment • Nice to have: MLOps, optimization algorithms, logistics systems, vector databases Project Overview Join the team as a Senior ML Engineer and help build an intelligent software solution supporting operations in production hall environments. The project focuses on developing and improving an ML/LLM-based system for forklift operations and internal logistics planning in manufacturing halls. The objective is to enhance the existing software with smarter decision-making capabilities, better calibration, and improved logistics planning efficiency. Responsibilities • Design and develop machine learning solutions supporting logistics and operational planning in production environments • Build and improve LLM-based functionalities that enhance system intelligence and decision support • Calibrate, tune, and evaluate models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and business usefulness • Analyze process and operational data to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities • Translate business and operational needs into practical ML solutions in close collaboration with the Product Delivery Manager • Integrate ML components into the broader software ecosystem through APIs and backend-oriented services • Take ownership of the ML domain, including experimentation, validation, iteration, and production-oriented thinking • Contribute to architectural decisions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and long-term product development Requirements • Min. 6+ years of commercial experience in Machine Learning / AI / Data Science roles • Strong hands-on experience with Python in production-grade ML environments • Proven experience in building, tuning, evaluating, or integrating LLM-based solutions • Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, model validation, optimization, and deployment constraints • Experience working with structured and operational data, including feature engineering and performance improvement • Ability to work independently and take ownership in an ambiguous, fast-evolving product environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, business-oriented mindset • Experience integrating ML services with software products, APIs, or data pipelines • Senior-level communication skills and ability to cooperate effectively in a small, high-responsibility team • Fluent in Polish and advanced English (B2+/C1 level) Nice to have • Experience in logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, or production-support systems • Knowledge of optimization problems such as routing, scheduling, or decision-support logic • Experience with cloud platforms • Familiarity with MLOps practices and model lifecycle management • Experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, or LLM orchestration frameworks • Background in solutions where ML directly improves operational efficiency Why join us?
