Software Engineer AI

We are looking for a Software Engineer AI to join the AI & Data Center of Excellence at an international company operating in the life sciences industry. This is a highly engineering-focused role, centered around building production-grade Generative AI systems and solutions that enable the organization to work effectively with enterprise data and documents. The team develops a data platform and a set of AI tools used across multiple business areas - from marketing and sales, through supply chain, to R&D. You will contribute to multiple projects in parallel, delivering components, pipelines, and reusable frameworks that will become the foundation for AI development across the organization. Key responsibilities: • Design and develop production-grade AI solutions in Python • Build agentic AI systems using LangChain/LangGraph • Develop RAG pipelines for unstructured documents and enterprise metadata • Build Document Intelligence pipelines: parsing PDF/Word/image files, OCR, structured extraction, and validation at scale • Design and implement Text-to-SQL solutions and conversational data access interfaces • Develop APIs and integrations and backend services • Implement automated testing, regression frameworks, LLM evaluation, and support A/B testing approaches • Work closely with business stakeholders and data/IT teams to define and scope AI use cases • Contribute to platform development by building reusable libraries, components, and engineering standards for the AI team Ideal candidate profile: • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar area • Strong software engineering skills in Python and experience with production-grade code • Hands-on experience delivering Generative AI solutions in production • Practical experience with LangChain / LangGraph • Experience designing and building RAG pipelines • Solid understanding of Text-to-SQL challenges and conversational data interfaces • Experience with Docker and cloud deployment (Azure) • Strong API development and integration skills • Experience with relational or vector databases • Business-oriented mindset and ability to translate real challenges into well-scoped AI solutions • Fluent English (written and spoken) Conditions: • Form of cooperation: UoP • Salary range: 20 000 - 25 000 PLN gross/month • Hybrid work model: 1 day per week in the Warsaw office • Benefits: company bonus and reward structure, private medical care, life and travel insurance, pension plan, sport card, additional days off
