Opis stanowiska
O projekcie: The Digital Transformation Unit of Bayer Consumer Health operates a global data & analytics cloud platform, which is the backbone of all data & (advanced) analytics products for Bayer Consumer Health. As Senior Cloud Engineer you are responsible to enable and manage Azure Cloud Services on a globally & scalable distributed data, analytics & AI platform. You will engage with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Scientists to derive together with Cloud Architects which Azure Services need to be enabled / adjusted and implement the respective features and/or changes, considering CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code Best Practices. Wymagania: - Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar - 3-5 years of working experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud development (infrastructure as code) & proficient knowledge especially the Data Platform Stack (ML, Databricks, Data Factory, etc.) and Application Development Stack (Container Apps, Web Apps, etc.) - Proficient Knowledge of Azure Network Design (Private Link, VPC Setup, Azure Firewall etc. ) and Azure Authentication Management - Coding skills in PowerShell, Azure Resource Monitor/ARM, Bicep, Terraform as well as Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Github and Github Actions are a must - Good knowledge about Data Modelling / Data Warehousing / Data Science / Application Development, Snowflake as a technology as well as platform architecture skills is a plus - Problem solving - & analysis skills, combined with profound business judgement. - Good documentation & communication skills (active listening, consulting, challenging) - Intercultural awareness and willingness to travel. Fluent in English, both written & spoken. Codzienne zadania: - Contribute to platform roadmap together with cloud architects, derive requirements for missing capabilities and participate in Azure service evaluation - Plan, Design and Enable Services on Azure Cloud Platform & Databricks based on derived requirements in line with security guidelines & non-functional requirements like cost efficiency & scalability and documentation guidelines. - Engage with the platform operations team and implement and deploy changes - Train the platform operations team to operate the new features that you have built, provide them with the needed documentation - Observe & assess platform compliance and implement solutions to ensure platform operations within compliance guidelines - Engage with technology and implementation partners to overcome issues if required - Engage with central cloud teams, network and security teams, cyber security teams to overcome issues if required and follow company best practices
