Senior SME
Customer Discovery & Managed Team Development - Data Intelligence Platforms
The Senior SME – Delivery Governance, Transition & Data Intelligence Platforms ensures that Managed Teams and Managed Services can be successfully transitioned into stable and scalable delivery operations.
The role combines delivery governance, transition management and subject matter expertise in Data & Intelligence Platforms to support customers throughout the lifecycle from opportunity qualification to operational service delivery.
Working closely with Business Units, Delivery Managers and customer stakeholders, the individual contributes to the establishment of repeatable and operationally robust service models.
Key Responsibilities
Transition & Service Readiness
• Support transition planning for new Managed Team and Managed Service engagements
• Define operational readiness criteria and delivery controls
• Identify risks, dependencies and mitigation plans
• Coordinate handover activities between sales, delivery and customer organisations
Delivery Governance
• Design governance structures and service management frameworks
• Define reporting concepts, KPIs and service performance mechanisms
• Support governance boards, service reviews and steering meetings
• Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives
Data & Intelligence Platforms Advisory
• Provide subject matter expertise in data platform and analytics environments
• Support customers in establishing scalable delivery models for data and intelligence services
• Contribute to platform governance and operational models
• Support service opportunities in data, analytics and intelligence-related domains
Practice Development
• Develop reusable delivery and governance standards
• Contribute to delivery methodologies and templates
• Support knowledge sharing across Business Units and delivery organisations
• Strengthen Practice capabilities within data-driven service environments
Experience & Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Service Delivery, Managed Services, Operations or Data Platforms
• Experience with enterprise-scale data and analytics environments
• Strong governance, reporting and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience designing and operating service models
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Successful service transitions
• Governance compliance and SLA performance
• Growth of Data & Intelligence service capabilities
• Delivery quality and service stability
• Fluent German & English
