This time you have the chance to be part of a project related to the development, consulting and support of IT systems for Frontex. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime. Our expectations • At least 8 years of relevant professional IT experience • Minimum 5 years of proven project experience in a similar position or profile • At least bachelor’s degree • Minimum C1 level proficiency in English (certification is an advantage) • At least 2 certifications among:• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent • Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent • Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solution • Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation • Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis • Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.) • Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others • Presents excellent analytical and communication skills • Holds ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively • Presents problem solving skills • Proven ability to develop and maintain Business Architecture • Experience in the role of Business Analyst in project aimed at analysis, design, implementation and deployment of ICT Solution that enabled content production, reporting tools or analytical tools • Experience working at the public sector, preferably in EU Institutions or International organisations Main responsibilities • Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data. • Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories, • Supports business experts and product owners during definition of requirements and software development • Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle • Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification, • Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features • Analyses available systems • Supports identification of options for potential solutions • Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies • Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management. • Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence • Responsible for taking a holistic approach in the planning and managing of a programmes for continuous improvements of business processes • Responsible for coaching Frontex staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes • Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek out process improvements • Identifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains) • Communicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to all stakeholders, in order to better provide rapid responses to business needs • Quantitatively analyses business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analysis • Plans organizational changes process • Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes • Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g. sector strategies, implementation plans etc.) • Supports definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures
