Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Analyst / Financial Controller who will play an important role in supporting the company’s financial operations, reporting, planning, and decision-making processes. The position combines analytical responsibilities with day-to-day cooperation with accounting, employees, and business stakeholders.

Wymagania:
Skills & Experience- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable discipline.- Approximately 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling, FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting.- Solid knowledge of core financial statements, including the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.- Practical experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.- Advanced Excel proficiency, including tools such as Pivot Tables, lookup functions, Power Query, and Power Automate.- Strong numerical and analytical skills, combined with a structured approach to problem solving.- High attention to detail and the ability to organise work effectively and meet deadlines.- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.Nice to Have- Familiarity with ERP environments, particularly Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems.- Professional finance qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CFA, either completed or currently in progress.- Previous experience working across international or multicultural organisations.- Exposure to finance transformation, digitalisation, or process optimisation projects.Personal Profile- Naturally analytical and comfortable working with financial data.- Able to build effective relationships with stakeholders and act as a finance business partner.- Clear and confident communicator who can explain financial topics to both finance and non-finance colleagues.- Self-driven and capable of working independently while handling several priorities at the same time.- Takes initiative and actively looks for ways to improve existing processes.- Demonstrates a high degree of ownership, reliability, and professional integrity.

Codzienne zadania:
- Take ownership of recurring financial reporting, including monthly and quarterly management reporting as well as annual and statutory financial statements.
- Analyse financial results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying key drivers and explaining significant deviations.
- Contribute to the preparation and ongoing monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Act as a key point of contact for the external accounting provider, ensuring timely exchange of financial information and supporting the payment process.
- Review financial information for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
- Coordinate the internal invoice approval process and follow up on outstanding approvals where necessary.
- Support month-end and year-end close by ensuring that required information is provided to the accounting team within agreed deadlines and by reviewing the resulting accounting deliverables.
- Coordinate finance-related activities connected with external and statutory audits and support the company in meeting applicable compliance requirements.
- Work closely with non-finance teams, translating financial data into practical insights and supporting business decisions.
- Respond to finance-related queries from employees, including matters concerning expenses, business travel, and related settlements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
