Senior BI Engineer

Responsibilities • Designing, modifying, and maintaining Power BI reports in an Azure DevOps version control environment • Optimizing semantic models and DAX queries using tools such as DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, Measure Killer, and Claude Code • Developing and maintaining lakehouse infrastructure in Databricks/DBT to support reporting and business needs • Preparing and modifying SQL scripts for ad-hoc analysis • Supporting team members in implementing best practices in data modelling, coding, and ETL processes • Working closely with other teams/programs to identify business needs and translate them into insightful reports and analyses • Maintaining up-to-date documentation • Supporting the development of technical skills of other team members • Collaborating within a project team using Jira to plan, monitor, and manage tasks, ensuring effective project delivery Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization, and analytics • Strong proficiency in data modelling, process optimization, and data mart development • Advanced knowledge of Power BI (DAX, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor) • Experience managing Power BI environments, working with .pbip files, and version control systems (e.g., Git) • Hands-on experience in cloud environments (Databricks, Azure) • Experience implementing data quality controls and validation processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness • Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and concepts • Knowledge of Data Governance concepts and Data Mesh architecture Nice to have • Basic knowledge of DBT and willingness to further develop in this area • Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting processes • Certifications in Power BI, Databricks, DBT, or Azure • Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience in process automation (e.g., CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code) • Knowledge of financial instruments and markets What we offer • Real influence on the development of the company and the product, • Work in an experienced team that is happy to share its knowledge, • A clear vision of development thanks to regular feedback and clear career paths, • Regular team-building meetings.
