We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join an international project delivered for a leading organization operating in the financial market infrastructure and trading environment. The role focuses on the reference data domain within trading systems and involves close collaboration with both business and technology teams in a fast-paced, global environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex business processes and datasets, modelling requirements, and producing high-quality functional documentation supporting the development and integration of trading platforms and data systems. Your tasks • Analysing and refining business requirements related to trading systems and reference data • Modelling business processes and data structures using UML (including sequence diagrams and data models) • Creating and maintaining high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and interface specifications • Analysing and modelling core datasets used in financial and trading systems • Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and architects to clarify requirements and ensure alignment of solutions • Supporting initiatives related to trading domains, such as on-book/off-book trading, reference data management, and regulatory topics (e.g., MiFID) • Translating complex business and data requirements into clear, structured, and actionable deliverables • Working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring clarity and consistency across project stakeholders Requirements • At least 8 years of experience in business analysis or requirements engineering, ideally within trading or broader financial services • Extensive expertise in reference data and reference data systems, including hands-on experience in modelling and analysing datasets • Good knowledge of UML, with proven experience in data modelling and process modelling • Experience with modelling tools used for diagram creation and documentation generation • Proven ability to produce clear and well-structured documentation, including business and functional specifications as well as interface specifications • Ability to translate complex business and data requirements into clear, actionable deliverables • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in dynamic and evolving environments • Fluency in English (spoken and written) – mandatory • Fluent Polish required • Residing in Poland required Nice-to-have requirements • Spanish language skills
