Senior Business Analyst – WAF Delivery

Practical expertise in managing Enterprise/Web applications and CDN solutions. Exposure to version control, build, and deployment tools. Understanding of agile methodologies, quality management, and configuration control processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Strong relationship-building and influencing skills. Ability to lead multiple priorities and projects under tight deadlines. Willingness to occasionally work over weekends for major releases. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with practical experience in Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and content delivery networks (CDN) to support strategic security initiatives in a leading global financial institution. This position focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering WAF projects at a global scale to protect both internet-facing and internal web applications hosted across multiple data centers and cloud environments. You will act as a technical liaison and subject matter expert, ensuring that both technology and associated processes function optimally to safeguard enterprise assets. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, service owners, and external vendors, managing technical integrations, risk mitigation, and delivering successful WAF deployments from design to implementation while upholding the highest security and compliance standards. Sounds like your kind of challenge? Zakres obowiązków: Serve as the main point of contact for WAF implementation projects across multiple platforms. Manage WAF capability models and target operating models, ensuring consistent alignment with security architecture. Resolve technical issues collaboratively with WAF/CDN vendors, ensuring timely service delivery. Lead planning, execution, and go-live activities for WAF integrations across cloud and on-prem environments. Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure a successful end-to-end implementation and risk mitigation. Own the technical components of integration: configuration changes, testing, documentation, and release support. Ensure effective change management and release coordination according to governance principles. Provide accurate scope assessments and implementation timelines. Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks proactively. Communicate status updates and progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
