GCP Consultant/ Architect

Currently, for our client, we are looking for a skilled GCP Consultant. Project information: • Budget: up to 160 PLN net/h (B2B)-negotiable in case of more advanced experience • Work model: 100 % Remote (possible work from an office in Cracow) • Type of employment: B2B contract Your responsibilities: • Map SOX, BSI C5, and BNetzA requirements to technical controls. • Verify network capacity for data transfer. • Migrate infrastructure artifacts from Azure and on-prem environments to GCP. • Prepare migration of user and service accounts, including listing accounts and privileges. • Design traffic/PII data separation via VPC-SC. • Plan customer-managed key (Thales) and Confidential Computing in GCP VMs. • Define IAM roles, Shared VPCs, and GitOps pipelines. • Deploy GCP hierarchy and networking via Terraform. • Activate EKM, Access Transparency, and VPC-SC. • Deploy Databricks cloud services from GCP Marketplace. • Enable BigQuery and BigLake integrations, including external table configurations. • Activate data federation with GCP BigLake and Databricks Lakehouse Federation. • Run automated compliance scans and CI/CD validation. Requirements • Experience in architecting GCP solutions (Azure experience is a plus). • Hands-on experience developing key GCP services. • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform). • Experience in automating cloud environments. • Knowledge of DevOps pipeline tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins). • Experience in developing, visualizing, and using high-level models Optional: • Experience in designing / architecting Container / DevOps Cloud Native platform including Docker and Kubernetes / OpenShift.
