Nasze wymagania: Education & Experience • Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. • 10+ years in IoT hardware product development, with at least 3 years in leadership roles. Leadership • Proven coaching and mentoring skills, with a track record of developing engineering talent. • Experience onboarding new hires and scaling multidisciplinary teams. • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities. • Demonstrated leadership in mass production programs. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Creative thinker, able to maintain agility within projects. • Skilled at engaging cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues. Technical Expertise • Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools. • Advanced expertise in complex PCB design and validation for high-speed multilayer boards. • Proficient in Altium Designer and Arena PLM software • In-depth knowledge of cellular and wireless technology integration • Strong background in hardware productization (DFM/DFA) • Strong experience with global regulatory requirements/cellular carrier certifications. Foster a culture of collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement to ensure exceptional product delivery. • Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering • Hybrid schedule: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote each week • Occasional travel (about 5%) required Zakres obowiązków: People Leadership & Team Development • Champion company culture and core values with a strong customer-centric approach. • Align engineering strategies with the company vision to drive better decision-making. • Provide coaching and foster professional growth and technical excellence. • Mentor and scale up a multidisciplinary team (Electronic, Mechanical, RF, Test Engineers). • Build and strengthen technical capabilities while promoting innovation and empowerment. • Drive a continuous improvement mindset across processes and practices. • Lead initiatives for internal training and knowledge sharing to enhance team expertise. Technical Strategy & Execution • Promote the long-term technical vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives • Lead hardware architecture development • Contribute to technical requirements and statements of work • Ensure technical decisions support long term innovation, scalability, and quality. • Align engineering scope and project execution to meet delivery commitments. • Oversee all phases of product development (system review, EVT, DVT, PVT). • Implement a Design-to-Cost and Customer-Centric approach throughout product development. • Support manufacturing test fixture development and integration • Maintain state-of-the-art engineering practices and drive continuous improvement • Lead technology evaluations and adoption of modern tools and frameworks. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management • Collaborate with the organization engineering teams (Software, Test, Validation, Manufacturing) • Support customer engineering and product teams. • Manage third-party suppliers and manufacturing requests. • Support compliance regulatory testing (FCC/CE, RED, PTCRB, Carrier Certification) • Consult with project management and operations for NPI and supply chain readiness. • Support technical sales and leadership teams for marketing and customer events. • Support after sales engineering change requests
