O projekcie: We are looking for a strategic and hands‑on Platform Architect to join our Observability Squad. You will design and implement a robust, enterprise‑grade observability architecture across cloud and infrastructure environments, select and integrate the right tools, and establish standards and best practices that align with our network and security posture. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, networking, and product leaders to ensure the observability platform is stable, compliant, and extensible- turning cross‑team telemetry needs into a clear, future‑proof platform strategy. Wymagania: - Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 6+ years’ experience in IT with a strong emphasis on systems architecture, platform engineering, or infrastructure. - 2+ years in senior IT/architectural roles (Enterprise/Lead Architect or equivalent) with proven experience driving cross‑organizational change. - Deep expertise in cloud and infrastructure (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP experience a plus). - Strong system design and modeling skills- able to craft architecture that balances risk, cost, and operational complexity. - Expert knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, microservices architecture, and observability data flows. - Proven ability to define and enforce governance, security, and compliance requirements across platforms. - Demonstrated experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tooling. - Excellent communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders and building consensus. - Track record of mentoring architects and guiding multi‑disciplinary delivery teams. - Experience in applying Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) - Fluent in English, both written & spoken, intercultural awareness and willingness to travel from time to time Codzienne zadania: - Platform design: Produce reference architectures for computer, storage, networking, and identity that support telemetry pipelines. - Establish standards & best practices: Create and evangelize architectural standards, telemetry schemas, naming conventions, data retention policies, and instrumentation patterns across engineering teams. - Network & system integration: Ensure seamless integration of observability solutions with existing network, identity, and application architectures; define integration patterns and interfaces (APIs, message buses, exporters). - Network & connectivity: Define secure routing, peering, private connectivity, and load balancing patterns for telemetry flows. - Compute & orchestration: Define sizing, autoscaling, and placement strategies (Kubernetes and VMs) for ingestion and processing workloads. - IaC & deployment patterns: Define blueprints and CI/CD patterns for reproducible, auditable platform deployments. - Stakeholder collaboration: Advise enterprise architects, network, security, and SRE teams; produce clear architecture artefacts and runbooks. - Governance, security & compliance: Ensure platform designs meet governance, regulatory, and security controls- including access controls, data residency, retention, and auditability.
