PEGA Senior/Lead System Architect

For one of our clients we are looking for a PEGA Senior/Lead System Architect. About the project Our client has selected Pega as the leading platform for implementing its digitalization strategy. The first project will be the implementation of the visa application process. This will streamline the application and processing procedures for visas at over 200 embassies. In addition to the necessary digitalization of the processes, the integration of all participating authorities is also a key consideration. The project is launching with a greenfield approach, and the team will grow steadily in the coming months. The first production launch is planned for the end of 2026. You will join the international delivery team as a Senior System Architect (SSA) or Lead System Architect (LSA), contributing hands‑on to the design and implementation of enterprise‑grade Pega solutions. In addition to this role, we also have ongoing and upcoming Pega related demands for other international projects. Candidates who are a strong fit may also be considered for future assignments aligned with their skills and seniority. Technical skills • Current certifications: Pega SSA or LSA – mandatory (Pega SSA or LSA certification - the most wanted skills here) • 4+ years of hands‑on Pega development experience • Proven experience in designing and developing enterprise Pega applications • Practical experience with Pega 8.x (case types, flows, UIs, rules, data pages) • Strong understanding of integrations: REST, SOAP, file‑based interfaces • English B2+ – mandatory, German – nice to have • Personal security clearance – nice to have • Experience in the German public sector – nice to have Responsibilities • Design, build and maintain application components on Pega platform • Implement end‑to‑end case lifecycle, data model, integrations (REST/SOAP), business logic, and UI • Ensure full adherence to Pega guardrails, design patterns and best practices • Participate in solution design, estimations, and refinement sessions • Conduct code reviews, provide guidance to SAs and junior developers (SSA/LSA level) • Cooperate closely with Business Architects, QA and DevOps specialists • Contribute to continuous improvement, DevOps practices and engineering standards • For LSA level: provide architectural leadership, oversee technical direction, support parallel delivery streams Offer: • Remote set-up • Start: ASAP; end: 31.12.2026 with possibility of extension • Rate: up to 165 PLN/h • B2B via Shimi • Benefits: Multisport and Luxmed card
