The Smart Brewery is an industrial facility with very high efficiency, very low maintenance time that can be monitored, diagnosed, and improved on-site or remotely thanks to digital technology. You will be part of the IIoT product team in Connected Brewery Portfolio (CB), providing services to our shopfloor operators and technicians to make their lives easier in an increasingly complex world and unlock opportunities through insights that we never had before.     We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in AWS services, cloud security, and DevOps practices, along with strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based systems, while also mentoring junior engineers and guiding the team towards best practices in cloud engineering.     Your responsibilities would include:   Cloud Infrastructure and Networking:   • leading the design and management of complex cloud architectures using AWS services like IoT, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc. • adhering to AWS well-architected framework best practices • ensuring robust networking configurations, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.   Security and Compliance:   • implementing and managing advanced AWS security practices, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as GDPR and DORA.    DevOps and Automation:   • overseeing the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible • leading the adoption of CI/CD practices and tools like AWS CodePipeline and GitHub actions, GitOps.   Cost Management and Optimization:   • develop and implement cost optimization strategies using AWS tools like Auto Scaling, Spot Instances, and Cost Explorer • monitoring resource usage and optimizing for cost-efficiency using CloudWatch and Trusted Advisor.     Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):   • driving the automation of build, test, and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines • ensuring the team is using best practices with tools like AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions.   Performance Optimization:   • analyzing and optimizing system performance through load balancing, auto-scaling, and detailed metrics analysis • implementing strategies for cost and resource efficiency.   Mentorship and Leadership:   • providing leadership/mentorship on the Industry 4.0(manufacturing domain) to the team • designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting digitalization and IIoT solutions for industrial applications • providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud engineers • guiding the team in adopting best practices for cloud security, infrastructure management, and automation.   You are a good candidate if you have:   • been working with multiple stakeholders to synthesize a solution and drive alignment • an extensive experience in AWS cloud architecture, networking, and security • demonstrating proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) • possessing a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and cloud security best practices • showing proven experience in performance optimization and cost management in cloud environments • holding AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) is highly desirable • demonstrating a strong understanding of technical specifics • being able to make decisions about which technologies are needed to develop the product • being a business and technical consultant who is responsible for the design of the product • ability to work across a broad range of business and IT-related subject-matter • English C1.   You are a perfect match if you also have:   • an experience in the manufacturing domain/Industry 4.0.   At HEINEKEN Kraków, we take integrity and ethical conduct seriously.
