Opis stanowiska
Nasze wymagania: Minimum 8+ years of relevant ServiceNow experience, with at least 10 years in IT operations. At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM, focusing on Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping. Strong expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, MID Servers, and related integrations. Proficiency in creating and customizing patterns, probes, and sensors. Experience with CSDM (Common Service Data Model) and service taxonomy. Familiarity with network protocols (HTTP, SNMP, SSH, WMI) and infrastructure technologies (load balancers, databases, middleware). Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and regex. Proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving Service Mapping issues. Mandatory certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD). Preferred certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM / Discovery / Event Management. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Mile widziane: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps environments. Exposure to enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Splunk. Experience with additional ITOM modules: Cloud Management, AIOps. O projekcie: The ServiceNow ITOM Specialist / Architect plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions within HCLTech’s ServiceNow environment. This position is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of service mapping, discovery, and event management. The successful candidate will drive technological excellence, streamline IT operations, and enhance service visibility, directly contributing to HCLTech’s strategic objectives and operational resilience. Zakres obowiązków: Lead the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow Service Mapping solutions for business-critical services. Identify and map business services and applications using advanced Service Mapping tools. Integrate discovery and mapping processes with the CMDB, ensuring comprehensive and accurate service data. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand service dependencies and document robust, end-to-end service maps. Troubleshoot mapping errors, optimize patterns and probes, and enhance visibility across IT infrastructure. Work closely with platform, infrastructure, and application teams to align Service Mapping with evolving business needs. Customize and create new patterns, probes, and sensors to support tailored mapping initiatives. Ensure Service Mapping data supports Event Management, Incident, Change, and Problem Management workflows. Provide expert guidance in ITOM best practices, including Discovery, CMDB Health, and CSDM alignment. Participate in escalation meetings, handle complex escalations, and deliver solution-oriented decision making. Communicate fluently and effectively with client stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
