We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture of a next-generation AI-powered in-vehicle assistant. This is a highly technical role where you will define the end-to-end architecture of a platform that enables natural, voice-first interaction between drivers, passengers, vehicles, and connected services.
You will work at the intersection of embedded Android, cloud-native architectures, and Generative AI, designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that power the future of connected vehicles.
Project Overview
Our client is developing an intelligent in-vehicle assistant that provides a unified conversational interface for drivers and passengers. The platform enables natural voice interactions across vehicle controls, navigation, communication, media, and personalized connected services.
As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and evolving the overall system architecture, bridging embedded automotive software with cloud-native AI ecosystems and ensuring seamless communication between edge and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end architecture of the intelligent in-vehicle assistant platform.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions across embedded and cloud environments.
• Define architectural standards, technical direction, and system governance.
• Lead architecture discussions and collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Design interfaces and communication between embedded systems, backend services, and AI components.
• Guide the development of cloud-native microservices and distributed architectures.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and other non-functional requirements.
• Identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Support delivery teams with technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Bridge business requirements with technical implementation while driving engineering best practices.
Requirements
Must have
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, System Architect, or in a similar technical architecture role.
• Strong experience designing end-to-end software solutions for complex distributed systems.
• Solid background in Embedded Android, including:• system applications,
• Android services,
• SDK development,
• custom APK distribution.
• Experience designing and reviewing backend systems built with Go (Golang) and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Kubernetes,
• Application Gateways,
• Azure Key Vault,
• telemetry and monitoring solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience designing AI platforms that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) while remaining vendor-agnostic.
• Expertise in real-time communication technologies, including:
• gRPC streaming,
• WebRTC data and audio channels.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple engineering teams.
Nice to have
• Experience with automotive software development.
• Understanding of audio processing.
• Knowledge of Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies and related APIs.
• Experience designing conversational AI or voice-enabled systems.
