We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a large-scale Item Management Platform (IMP) initiative focused on merchandising operations and product lifecycle management. The platform will be delivered as a SaaS solution by external vendors and will serve as a central hub supporting collaboration between business users, suppliers, and retail systems. The role requires occasional overlap with US working hours due to cooperation with international teams and technology partners. Your tasks • Act as the technical coordination point between internal stakeholders and external solution vendors • Clarify, validate, and negotiate technical solution details with suppliers • Translate architectural and technical requirements into implementation tasks for delivery teams • Support solution design activities and ensure technical consistency across the program • Oversee integrations and ensure alignment between systems, architecture, and enterprise standards • Collaborate closely with testing and quality assurance teams to support technical validation • Create and maintain architecture, integration, and technical documentation in Confluence • Provide technical guidance and support for governance activities throughout delivery • Monitor technical quality and ensure architecture decisions are properly documented and followed Requirements • At least 6 years of IT experience • Strong experience in enterprise solution architecture within complex environments • Experience working with SaaS platforms and integration-heavy ecosystems • Background in areas such as retail, item or product management, supplier portals, or MDM is highly valued • Hands-on understanding of integrations and ability to coordinate across vendors, security, infrastructure, and downstream system teams • Ability to validate solution design, support technical QA, and advise projects on technical decisions • Experience supervising and coordinating external technology vendors rather than leading internal development teams • Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and maintain technical and architectural documentation with minimal oversight • Fluency in both English and Polish • Availability to collaborate with US-based teams when required • Residing in Poland required
