Nasze wymagania: Professional & Technical Skills Several years of experience as a Software Architect or Senior Engineer in enterprise environments. Deep expertise in Java-based backend architectures (e.g. Spring ecosystem, microservices, RESTful APIs, messaging). Strong knowledge of frontend architectures using Angular and/or React, including modern web standards and best practices. Solid understanding of distributed systems, integration patterns (e.g. event-driven, API gateways), and system integration in heterogeneous landscapes. Experience in architecture governance, design patterns, and technical review processes. Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud architecture principles, ideally in the Open Telekom Cloud / T-Cloud Public context or comparable cloud platforms. Methods & Ways of Working Experience with agile scaled frameworks (e.g. SAFe, value stream-oriented organizations). Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration with operations and SRE functions. Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of ownership. Experience in technical reviews, architecture assessments, and documentation (including risks, trade-offs, and alternatives). Quality & Security Knowledge of common security standards (e.g. OWASP) and their application at architecture level. Strong awareness of non-functional requirements such as performance, stability, resilience, and operational readiness. Ability to design systems that are monitorable, testable, and maintainable over the long term. Tools & Collaboration Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for task management, documentation, and collaboration. Experience with architecture documentation tools and modeling (e.g. C4 model, UML, ArchiMate – or comparable). Proven ability to collaborate with multiple internal units and external partners in a large corporate environment. Strong skills in facilitating architecture and decision workshops, including conflict resolution and consensus building. Languages German: business fluent / negotiation level (C1 or above). Zakres obowiązków: Role & Architectural Ownership Take overall responsibility for the architecture of enterprise applications across their entire lifecycle. Define and maintain target architectures, reference architectures, and architectural guidelines. Translate business and process requirements from German stakeholders into implementable technical solutions. Ensure the integration and reintegration of development results into the Deutsche Telekom system landscape and enterprise architecture. Act as technical lead and sparring partner for Product Owners, Value Stream Owners, and lead developers. Technology & Architecture Design and evaluate Java-based backend architectures in complex enterprise environments. Define and review frontend architectures using Angular and/or React (including component models, state management, UI integration). Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure system landscapes, including APIs, microservices, and integration patterns. Ensure architecture governance, coding standards, and architectural principles are defined, communicated, and enforced. Design and review interfaces and integration with surrounding systems, legacy applications, and external services. Consider non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, security, operability) from the outset of architectural design. Requirements Engineering & Alignment Elicit, analyze, and evaluate functional and non-functional requirements from Value Stream Owners and business stakeholders (in German). Translate these requirements into structured, understandable specifications for international development teams (in English). Ensure continuous alignment between business, architecture, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Validate that business intent and technical implementation are consistent and that architectural decisions support the desired outcomes. Support prioritization and impact assessment of change requests and new features from an architectural perspective. Organization, Processes & Governance Navigate and leverage a complex Telekom system landscape and telco-specific processes. Work confidently within internal processes and governance frameworks (e.g. PSA, architectural review boards, release and approval processes). Enforce architectural and quality standards within and across development teams. Ensure technical consistency and coherence across multiple systems, applications, and value streams. Contribute to and support roadmaps, migration paths, and transformation initiatives (e.g. monolith to microservices, on-prem to cloud). Collaboration & Communication Leadership & Team Steering Provide technical leadership to multinational, English-speaking development teams (nearshore/offshore). Define architectural work packages and guide implementation together with lead engineers. Collaborate closely with Operations, Service Management, and SRE-related roles to ensure operability and reliability of the systems. Moderate and lead architecture and decision-making workshops across different stakeholder groups. Stakeholder Communication Communicate fluently and negotiate in German with Auftraggeber, Value Stream Owners, and internal stakeholders. Communicate and negotiate in English with international development teams and technical experts. Present complex technical topics in a target group-oriented, understandable manner (management, business, technical teams). Document architectural decisions (ADRs), guidelines, and design rationales in a clear and traceable way.
