Opis stanowiska
KC Techworks is a young and agile outsourcing software development company based in Kraków, Poland. We provide software development, consultancy and managed engineering services to businesses across numerous sectors, primarily based in the UK.We are currently looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a UK-based SaaS company and become part of its existing engineering team.
The engineering team consists of around 20 technical professionals working remotely, with occasional meetups in London or Kraków. The team is friendly, welcoming and multicultural, with members based across the UK, Sweden, Poland, Montenegro, Spain.
This is an AI-first engineering team, using an agentic development approach where engineers work with AI coding agents to plan, implement, test and verify software. You will still need strong software engineering judgement, but you won't be expected to manually write every line of code.
How We Build Software
Our development process is built around an agentic engineering workflow.
AI agents can perform much of the mechanical implementation, testing and code-generation work. The engineer's role is to provide the right context, challenge assumptions, guide the implementation, validate the result and ensure that the final solution meets the technical and business requirements.
This means strong engineering judgement, system understanding and problem-solving ability are just as important as traditional coding skills.
Responsibilities
•
Feature Delivery: Deliver and maintain full-stack features using C#/.NET and React/Next.js, working with AI coding agents to turn business requirements and technical plans into production-ready solutions.
• Agentic Development: Use Claude Code, Cursor and other AI-driven tools as part of the day-to-day development workflow. Create and refine implementation plans, provide the right context to AI agents, guide execution and review the resulting implementation.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Contribute to cloud resource management in Azure using Terraform scripts and maintain existing Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Quality & Automation: Monitor and act on feedback from CodeRabbit (AI reviews) and SonarCloud (static analysis) to improve code quality before manual review.
• Testing & Verification: Work with AI agents to create and execute unit and integration tests using xUnit, Jest and other appropriate tools. Analyse results, investigate failures and verify that changes meet requirements.
• Architecture: Work within a Microservices and Microfrontend architecture, understanding how different parts of the system communicate and how changes may impact the wider platform.
• UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive components using the company's Design System, working with AI agents to accelerate implementation.
• Collaboration: Participate in Scrum ceremonies (Daily, Sprint Planning, Retro) and provide constructive feedback during technical and code reviews.
Required Skills and Competencies
•
Experience: Max 2–3 years of commercial experience in software development.
• Backend: Solid grasp of C# and ASP.NET Core. Understanding of REST APIs and Dependency Injection.
• Frontend: Proficiency in React; familiarity with Next.js and TypeScript is a significant plus.
• AI Development: Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or equivalent is highly desirable. Most importantly, you should be comfortable reviewing AI-generated plans and code and challenging incorrect solutions.
• Tools & IDE: Comfort with Visual Studio or VS Code; openness to using Cursor IDE for AI-assisted coding.
• Cloud & CI/CD: Basic experience with Azure and an understanding of how CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) work.
• Quality Mindset: Basic knowledge of SonarCloud or similar static analysis tools; willingness to work with CodeRabbit for AI reviews.
• Testing: Ability to write unit tests (e.g., xUnit, JUnit, or xUnit).
• Design: Ability to interpret Figma files and implement styles accurately.
• Engineering Judgement: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess whether an AI-generated implementation is technically correct, maintainable and aligned with the architecture.
Why this role is great for a Regular Dev?
•
AI-First Culture: AI is a core part of how we build software. You'll use Claude Code, Cursor, CodeRabbit and other AI tools as part of the engineering workflow.
• Agentic Development: Rather than manually implementing every task, you'll work with AI agents through a workflow of planning, execution, testing and verification. This lets you focus more on engineering judgement, problem solving and delivering the right solution.
• Modern Stack: You won't be stuck with legacy code; you'll use modern .NET, Next.js, Terraform and Azure technologies.
What we offer
• Competitive salary.
• Opportunities for professional growth and development.
• A collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Flexible working hours and remote work.
• The opportunity to work in a modern AI-first engineering team.
