We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group. API Developer / Business Analyst As a API Developer / Business Analyst, your mission is to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define insurance business logic, apply governance principles, and translate business needs into well-designed, reusable APIs. You will help shape and standardize APIs across key functional domains, including quotation, new business, post-sales, claims, billing and collection, people, commissions, agent management, reinsurance, coinsurance, and renewals. Your Impact as API Developer / Business Analyst: What are you going to do As a API Developer / Business Analyst in our organization, your primary mission will be to collaborate with various teams to define insurance business logic and apply governance processes and principles. You will design standard APIs for different functional domains, such as quotation, new business, post-sales, claims, billing and collection, people, commissions, agents' management, reinsurance, coinsurance, and renewals. Key responsibilities include: - Design and standardize APIs across functional domains (e.g., quotation, new business, post-sales, claims, billing and collection, people, commissions, agent management, reinsurance, coinsurance, renewals). - Align requirements from different international Business Units with ILOM system standards. - Contribute hands-on to day-to-day design and development activities using modern Microsoft technologies. - Participate in solution design, concept visualization, and the definition and documentation of functional and technical requirements. - Ensure non-functional requirements are addressed (scalability, security, performance, reliability, data recovery, etc.). - Define, document, and promote functional and API development standards. - Maintain a corporate repository of business and integration architecture artifacts, standards, and procedures. - Assess implementation approaches to ensure compliance with internal/external regulations, best practices, and corporate policies. - Recommend solutions to improve existing IT systems and support new capabilities. - Apply strong knowledge of integration platforms, integration patterns, and modern front-end frameworks and engagement platforms. - Understand and communicate technical system structures and dependencies.
