As an Engineer I, you'll be developing financial products that will shape the future of how businesses manage their finances. Along with expanding into new markets and handling an increasing volume of transactions, Mollie has recently introduced exciting new products. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to life and contribute to these. Mollie Capital offers easy access to flexible financing, providing funding to support growth and cash flow management. In-person payments, allows merchants to accept payments at their physical stores through our terminal and mobile app. These innovations are just the beginning, enabling Mollie to offer a seamless all-in-one payment solution and money management platform. What you will be doing: - Building Large-Scale Systems: Help us design and engineer systems that can scale to manage high volumes of transactions efficiently and effectively. - Developing Products Our Customers Love: Iterating from an idea to the final solution, shaping, building, testing, and measuring the performance of the features our customers love. - API and Service Development: Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Mollie’s engineering teams. - Autonomy and Ownership: Lead technical initiatives from architecture design to implementation, ensuring engineering excellence throughout the process. - Problem-Solving: Utilize your creative problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to resolve complex issues and contribute to our mission of making financial processes effortless. - Engineering Excellence: Own the code quality and engineering excellence and best practices of our systems.
