Automation / QA Engineer (Embedded Systems), mid-level to senior
Introduction & Summary:
This position requires a skilled Automation / QA Engineer with expertise in Python-based test automation and a strong focus on embedded systems. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in utilizing BDD frameworks and tools while engaging in hardware-in-the-loop testing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Project Details:
• B2B Contract for 2-3 months
• Remote
• Part-time ( 4 hours per day)
• Open Rate
Main Responsibilities:
As an Automation / QA Engineer, you will engage in various testing initiatives, ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded systems.• Develop and implement automated test cases using Python
• Conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing to validate system performance
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines within Jenkins
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements
• Document testing processes and results for transparency and traceability
Key Requirements:
• Python-based test automation expertise using BDD frameworks
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing methodologies
• Proven track record in developing CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins
Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with OCPP and ISO 15118 conformance testing (OCTT, OCA)
• Experience with risk-based testing methodologies and Jama
• ISTQB certification
