B2B Java Software Engineer I

O projekcie: The Software Engineer I is responsible for building the tools required to help organizations succeed with Apple. Work closely with the agile team to apply appropriate designs and practices to build core domain services in a PaaS domain environment. Contribute independently on well-defined tasks while collaborating with more experienced Engineers to grow scope and ownership over time.  This role is offered as hybrid with the expectation to be in Katowice office once per 2 weeks. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland. #LI-Hybrid Wymagania: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred). - A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered. - Provide on-call support for services owned by the team, as part of a shared rotation schedule (required). - Minimum 2 years of experience in developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance process (required). - Minimum 2 years of experience in JVM application development (required). - Experience and knowledge of: Java + Spring (required) or Kotlin + Ktor (willingness to learn). - Experience with and knowledge of Microservices Architecture (preferred). - Experience with and knowledge of NoSQL databases, DynamoDB (preferred). - Knowledge of the following technologies will be an advantage: Kubernetes and Helm, AWS services, Terraform, Golang, observability stack (Loki or OpenSearch, Jaeger or Tempo, Prometheus, Grafana). - Understanding of Service Ownership and DevOps culture (required). - Focus on software development best practices (required). - Strong communication, analytical, and listening skills. - Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results-driven culture. - Strong written and oral English language.
