Dear Consultant, We are searching for a Backend Developer who will be responsible for building and supporting Spark-based data processing solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric platforms for a multinational client. Backend Developer (PySpark + Python, Azure) Location: Gdynia, Poland (1 day/week onsite) Contract Duration: 1 year Start Date: 01 Feb 2026 Experience: 8–10 yearsday Work Model: Hybrid (4 days WFH) Key Responsibilities • Develop applications using PySpark and Spark (batch and streaming) • Program using Python notebooks • Build and run Spark jobs on Microsoft Fabric • Optimize Delta tables • Develop using Java (OOP) • Work with relational and NoSQL databases • Use GitLab, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines • Troubleshoot technical issues • Work in Agile environment and communicate effectively in English Must Have Skills • Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform • Microsoft Fabric Platform • PySpark • Spark programming (batch & streaming) • Python (Notebooks) • Delta table optimization • Java (OOP) • Relational & NoSQL databases • GitLab, Python unit testing, CI/CD pipelines • Agile methodology • Strong English communication Better to Have • Spark performance tuning • Docker • Kubernetes
