Backend Java Developer (with Frontend tasks)

Backend Java Developer (with Frontend tasks) We are looking for a strong Java backend engineer experienced with Spring and Kafka. The role may include 10–20% frontend involvement (mainly code review), or can be fullstack for candidates with React/Angular skills. The position is heavily backend-focused. Experience in Trading or Reporting is a plus. Responsibilities • Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, Hibernate. • Work with relational databases (T-SQL, SQL Server). • Develop solutions involving streaming, cloud, and containerized technologies. • Provide occasional support for frontend work (JavaScript/TypeScript, React). • Participate in architecture discussions and collaborate with other tech teams. Requirements • 4+ years of experience in Java development. • Strong skills in Java, Spring Framework, and SQL. • Experience with Kafka. • Good communication and problem-solving abilities. • Proactive, reliable, and committed to high standards.
