Embedded Android Automotive Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled developer to build a multi-layer automotive navigation and visualization system, ensuring seamless integration and high-performance user interfaces across all platform layers within an automotive environment. Details: • Location: remote + work from Sttutgart 1x/week, or 2x/month • Project Context: Automotive navigation and visualization system • Team Structure: Multi-layer development team • B2B Contract Main Responsibilities: • Develop and integrate components within a multi-layer navigation and visualization platform. • Connect native C++ components with Android services. • Ensure stable lifecycle management of Android applications. • Optimize performance in a real-time automotive environment. • Facilitate cross-layer integration between C++, Android, and Unity-based components. Key Requirements: • Strong experience with Android system architecture, particularly with Java and Kotlin. • Proficiency in C++ for native component development. • Understanding of inter-process communication methods in Android. • Experience in performance optimization for mobile applications. Nice to Have: • Familiarity with Unity and AR development for visualization layers. • Experience working in automotive software environments. • Knowledge of real-time system requirements.
