Full-Stack Developer (PHP)

Introduction & Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer (PHP) with over 3 years of experience in a product-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in object-oriented PHP development using frameworks such as Laravel, along with strong knowledge of relational databases and frontend technologies. The role requires a commitment to delivering quality features in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Main Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable features for the app marketplace, including partner dashboards, APIs, app listing tools, and user-facing components. • Build and maintain RESTful and/or RPC APIs to support third-party integrations and vehicle data services. • Work closely with other Developers, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Partner Success Managers to understand requirements and deliver quality features on time. • Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in version control, CI/CD, and security. • Identify bottlenecks and improve application performance on both the frontend and backend. • Stay current with emerging technologies, automotive APIs (e.g., telematics, vehicle data platforms), and suggest improvements to the stack or development workflow. Key Requirements: • 3+ years of full-stack development experience in a product-driven environment. • Solid experience in object-oriented PHP development using frameworks such as Laravel. • Strong knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL. • Expertise in building rich, responsive frontends (TypeScript, HTML, SCSS). • Proven ability to deliver features from concept to deployment in a fast-paced setting. • Experience working with in-memory data stores like Redis and search engines such as Elasticsearch is a plus. • Experience working on developer platforms, app marketplaces, or API-based ecosystems is a plus. • Familiarity with automotive APIs, connected vehicle platforms, or IoT integration is a strong advantage. • Comfortable working with agile methodologies and cross-functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Nice to Have: • Experience with in-memory data stores like Redis. • Familiarity with search engines such as Elasticsearch. • Experience working with developer platforms or API-based ecosystems.
