Opis stanowiska
We are looking for an experienced IFRS 18 Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join an audit project for a large international financial institution.
This is an expert-level role focused on supporting the audit team with in-depth knowledge of the interpretation and practical application of IFRS 18, with particular emphasis on key judgement areas and prevailing market practices.
Location: Warsaw / hybrid – minimum 40% of working days from the office
Engagement: approx. 0.6 FTE (60%)
Project language: English
Working model: Flexible time management with required participation in team callsKey responsibilities:
• Providing subject matter expertise to the audit team in the area of IFRS 18
• Conducting or supporting walkthroughs
• Conducting or supporting operational effectiveness testing
• Providing practical guidance on IFRS 18 implementation requirements and interpretation
• Supporting the assessment of key judgement areas and prevailing market practices
• Clearly communicating complex accounting and audit-related topics to audit teams and stakeholders
MUST-HAVE:
•
Expert-level, practical knowledge of IFRS 18, including implementation requirements, key judgement areas and market practices
• Experience in supporting audit engagements
•
Hands-on experience with walkthroughs
•
Experience with operational effectiveness testing
•
Ability to provide practical guidance on the interpretation and application of IFRS 18
•
Strong communication skills and experience working with audit teams and stakeholders
•
English proficiency sufficient to work effectively in an international environment
