About our Team
Samsung R&D Poland is looking for a passionate Electronics Constructor, Mechatronics, or Automation Intern. Our team focuses on broad automation, remote testing of mobile devices, and other hardware-related topics supporting research and development activities. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting the hardware team by assembling devices, soldering PCB boards, wiring, and preparing technical documentation. We are seeking someone with a genuine enthusiasm for electronics, hands-on experience in personal projects, and a knack for problem-solving in electrical and mechanical systems.

Role and Responsibilities
• Assisting in the assembly of devices, including soldering PCB boards and wiring.
• Mounting equipment in electrical cabinets and enclosures.
• Conducting quality checks, electrical measurements, and testing assembled devices.
• Engaging in rapid prototyping and preparing 3D prints for 3D printers.
• Supporting the development of mechanical components using 3D design tools.
• Programming microcontrollers (e.g., STM32) and establishing communication between microcontrollers and computers.
• Assisting in ordering components and managing the inventory of parts.
• Preparing technical documentation, including assembly instructions and other technical guides.

Skills and Qualifications
• Passion for Electronics and Hands-On Experience: You have a genuine interest in electronics and have worked on personal projects such as assembling devices, repairing appliances, or installing electrical systems at home, studies, startups etc.
• Technical Skills: Experience in soldering PCB boards, wiring, and electrical measurements.
• Programming: Basic knowledge of programming microcontrollers (e.g., STM32).
• Electronics Knowledge: Analog and digital electronics.
• Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve technical challenges.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have
• Knowledge of electrical cabinet assembly and equipment mounting.
• Programming: Basic knowledge of Python and programming microcontrollers (e.g., STM32).
• Communication: Ability to establish communication between microcontrollers and computers.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping and 3D printing processes.
• Experience with 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Understanding of inventory management and component ordering.
