We are looking for an Internal Kubernetes Platform (IKP) Engineering Team Lead to join our client’s Private Cloud division, which powers internal cloud platforms supporting secure, efficient operations for internal customers worldwide.
 
As a Team Lead, you will oversee a local engineering team while working closely with global teams. Your focus will be on designing, automating, and managing containerization platforms at enterprise scale.

Wymagania:
- Strong administrative knowledge and hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes in production.
- Engineering mindset for automation development, APIs, pipelines.
- Core skills: Linux OS, Containers, Kubernetes ecosystem (Istio, Cilium, CSI).
- Scripting skills (Bash) and programming (Python or Golang).
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (Jenkins, Ansible) and observability platforms (Splunk, Datadog).
- Experience in infrastructure lifecycle management and SDLC (GitHub).
- Awareness of ITIL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in English for global communication.

Nice to have

- Experience with HTTP protocols, storage (SAN/NAS), large-scale Kubernetes environments, VMware vSphere.

Codzienne zadania:
- Deliver end-to-end platform engineering and lifecycle management for the Internal Kubernetes Platform.
- Develop tools and automation to manage platform infrastructure and services lifecycle.
- Drive orchestrated operations for automation solutions, improving reliability, quality, and upgrade timelines.
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization; plan for future capacity.
- Build dashboards and visualizations to provide platform transparency.
- Implement self-healing solutions and resolve system issues proactively.
- Deliver operational support and consultancy for multiple software development teams.
- Coordinate weekend implementation tasks (approx. twice a month) following global schedules.
- Manage a team of 5 engineers in Poland and align workloads with global objectives.
