IT Developer (Python / Robot Framework)

About the project You will join a team responsible for the Data Quality and Platform Engineering area within a large international technology environment. The project focuses on ensuring data quality and automating testing processes in a complex systems architecture. We are looking for a candidate with strong development skills and hands-on experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks based on Python and Robot Framework. This role is ideal for someone who understands CI/CD processes, can analyze system-level issues, and actively contributes to improving software quality. Responsibilities • Designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks • Creating automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework • Developing custom keywords and dedicated test libraries • Integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines • Analyzing requirements and preparing test scenarios • Preparing test data and validating test results • Analyzing logs and debugging issues at the system level • Reporting defects and analyzing test execution results • Collaborating with developers, analysts, and product teams • Improving QA and automation processes Requirements Must have • Minimum 5 years of commercial development experience with Python • Minimum 3 years of experience with Robot Framework • Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks • Strong knowledge of CI/CD and Jenkins • Practical experience working with databases • Strong Linux and bash scripting skills • Experience with Git and collaborative code repositories • Experience with test management tools (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) • Experience working in Agile environments • Very good English communication skills Nice to have • Docker • Kafka / IBM MQ • Understanding of DevOps practices We are looking for someone who: • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Is confident challenging inefficient solutions and proposing improvements • Works effectively in a collaborative environment • Has experience working in complex enterprise systems • Can quickly onboard into an existing project What we offer • Long-term cooperation on a stable project • Opportunity to work with a modern technology stack • Real impact on quality processes and data reliability • Collaboration with experienced international teams • An environment focused on development and automation
