Java Developer Backend (B2B)

Responsibilities • You will join a vast multidisciplinary agile team of experts and develop modern microservices applications • You will take care of the relationship with the business customers in order to understand their needs and expectations • Together with your agile team, you will define the next sprint, provide estimates and create solution proposals for complicated tasks • Code reviews are standards here and you will help colleagues by giving them advice and providing insightful hints for their growth • Qualifications • Completed university degree in Computer Science or a related field • 3+ years of professional experience in software development • Strong experience in Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA) and solid understanding of microservices architecture • Hands-on experience with Kafka, MongoDB, Oracle and AWS cloud, including deployment and maintenance of cloud-based applications • Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift • Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP), TDD and writing clean, maintainable and testable code • Experience in Banking, Finance or Payments domains will be a strong plus. • Very good communication skills in English and Polish and availability to work in a remote or hybrid model (office visit once per month) About Nexi Digital Nexi Digital is a Joint Venture between Reply and Nexi Group.
