Java Developer with Kafka & Cloud

🌍 Project An international project within the insurance domain, focused on the development and maintenance of modern, scalable IT systems. The solution is based on microservices architecture and cloud technologies, delivered by agile teams working in a distributed, international environment. 🧩 Responsibilities • Work as a Senior Java Developer across multiple project streams • Collaborate with agile team members to achieve project and business goals • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs • Develop, test, debug, and document software applications • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members • Participate in architectural and technical decision-making 🛠️ Technical Requirements • Strong expertise in Java and commonly used Java frameworks • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) • Experience with Apache Kafka or other message brokers • Understanding of scalable and reliable application design • Ability to work independently and solve complex problems 👤 General Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate IT environment in a similar role • Technical degree (IT, Engineering, Science, or related field) • Strong communication skills • Comfortable working in an international environment ➕ Nice to Have • Experience with microservices architecture • Background in insurance or banking projects • Experience or knowledge of insurance core platforms • Technical certifications (Java, Spring, SQL, AWS / Azure) • Experience working in Agile / Scrum methodologies
