Lead .NET AI Engineer - Remote Poland

Dear Consultant, We are looking for a Lead .NET AI Engineer / Principal Developer to drive the adoption of AI-assisted development and code generation across a large product ecosystem. This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and mentorship, without people-management responsibilities. You will work closely with senior engineers, product teams, and architects to design scalable, AI-enhanced solutions, particularly around software integrations and automation. Work Model: RemoteContract Type: B2B Duration: Long-term (Feb 2026 – Dec 2026, extension likely) Key Responsibilities • Define and enforce code quality standards and best practices across .NET projects • Review and validate code quality, including AI-generated code • Design scalable, high-performance architectures with AI-enhanced components • Mentor engineers and promote AI-first engineering practices • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business needs into technical solutions • Evaluate and introduce AI/LLM tooling and development accelerators • Contribute hands-on to sprint goals (feature development, refactoring, maintenance) Must-Have Skills • Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET stack (Core / modern .NET) • Proven experience reviewing, validating, and mentoring .NET codebases • Experience defining development processes and improving developer productivity • CI/CD experience and automated testing practices • Hands-on experience or strong exposure to AI / LLM integration • Prompt engineering • OpenAI / Azure OpenAI APIs • Familiarity with code generation (e.g. Roslyn, source generators, T4) Nice to Have • Performance testing and AI-generated test cases • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot) • Background in large-scale SaaS or integration platforms 📩 Interested?
