Lead Software Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence across multiple teams while remaining hands-on in software development. You’ll lead high-impact projects from concept to delivery, shape architecture, and align technical direction with business strategy. Working closely with Technical leaders, Product Managers and the wider Engineering Group, you’ll set the standard for quality, mentor engineers across teams and champion initiatives that raise the engineering bar including the adoption of AI tools and automation. - Provide mentorship, constructive feedback and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement - Work closely with Product, QA, and Team Leads to align on strategy and execution - Shape product decisions alongside Product Managers and Designers - Ensure clear, open communication in remote, hybrid, and in-person settings - Establish and uphold coding standards and best practices - Identify and mitigate risks, addressing challenges proactively - Stay hands-on in software development, guiding engineers at a technical level - Work with fellow Technical Leaders to ensure alignment on technical direction and innovation
