Murex Developer (Java, Front Office Experience)

Murex Developer - Banking B2B Contract | Hybrid | Rates from 2000 PLN per day We are seeking experienced Murex Developers with Java Experience to join a large-scale, global banking programme. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable collaborating with international teams across Front Office, Product Control, Operations, and Finance. Our client is offering an exciting, long-term B2B contract. Key Responsibilities • Develop and enhance Java-based applications within a large, mission-critical banking platform • Collaborate with global teams to support trading, risk, and treasury functions • Troubleshoot complex issues, drive root‑cause analysis, and communicate findings clearly • Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement initiatives • Work across incident, change, and problem management processes Required Skills & Experience • Strong Murex Experience is essential (Hands‑on experience with Murex (v3.1) and components such as: MxML Exchange, Datamart, Market Data, Simulation View) • Hands-on Java development experience  • Knowledge of financial derivatives, treasury products, and front‑office operations • Strong knowledge of Spring, Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, and CI tooling • Solid SQL skills • Experience with Linux (Bash / ksh scripting) • Familiarity with Control‑M or similar schedulers • Understanding of XML • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and reasoning abilities • Excellent communication skills; fluent written and spoken English • Positive, proactive attitude with strong teamwork and DevOps mindset • Experience working on large‑scale platforms or enterprise projects
