Opis stanowiska
Currently, we have an exceptional opportunity for a Principal Engineer to join our team at HTD Health. We are looking for a high-level expert who is still a passionate developer at heart, but also wants to act as a strategic partner for our clients and a mentor for our engineering culture. In this role, you will combine hands-on coding with high-level consultancy. You will lead by example—implementing the best practices you preach, while ensuring our clients receive world-class technical guidance. If you want to code, lead, and shape the future of HealthTech, we want to meet you! What we need from you: • Hands-on Technical Excellence: At least 9+ years of commercial experience in Python. You still love writing code and believe in delivering readable, maintainable software covered with automated tests. • Architectural Vision: Deep understanding of Microservices, Distributed Systems, Asynchronous programming, and API Design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC). • Technical Versatility: Hands-on experience with more than one major Python framework (FastAPI, Django, Flask) and a deep understanding of ORMs, as well as both SQL and NoSQL databases. • Radical Accountability: You are the first to identify and report risks of delay or priority shifts. You proactively confirm that plans are valid, understanding that "no news is not good news." • Refinement & Analysis Mastery: You take ownership of the technical analysis for upcoming functionalities, ensuring the team understands the what and how before the sprint begins. • Estimation & Planning: You set the standard for realistic and complete work estimation, helping the team and the client build predictable roadmaps. • Client Partnership: You are a natural communicator (C1 English) who can talk to both developers and business stakeholders, creating RFCs and other technical documentation, explaining technical debt, reliability, and observability in a way that creates buy-in. • Quality Leadership: A drive to implement best practices that serve as a reference for others and set quality standards—both for code and for how you collaborate with internal and customer development teams. • Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). • Scale & Reliability: Proven ability to design large-scale enterprise solutions with a focus on meeting strict SLAs, optimizing performance, ensuring high availability, and implementing robust observability. We appreciate if you have: • AI Expertise: Deep understanding of ML, LLM, and MCP Principles (Model Context Protocol). • Data Intelligence: Experience with Big Data processing and visualization using tools like pandas, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar. • AI-Driven Development: Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to optimize development workflows and code quality. • Regulatory Awareness: Interest or experience in navigating regulatory standards like HIPAA or GDPR. • Fullstack Curiosity: Experience in other backend or frontend languages and a natural curiosity for emerging technologies. Your daily life in HTD will be focusing around: • Working with development team (or teams), delivering enterprise-level software built with both high-impact features and layers of maintainability and observability. • Ensuring work quality through overseeing the technical analysis, planning, execution as well as meticulous reviews and mentoring throughout the process. • Working closely with clients (and their dev teams) to align technical decisions with business goals, acting as the main point of contact for everything related to our technical cooperation. • Being the "go-to" person for team talks, internal workshops, and hackathons—actively raising the technical bar for everyone. • Comparing tools and services to provide authoritative recommendations for new projects or features. • Keeping technical debt visible and ensuring that stakeholders understand the importance of application stability and observability. What you can expect from us: • Salary depending on your skills, experience and position level:– PLN 22 000 – 26 300 gross on employment contract– PLN 26 000 – 31 500 + VAT on a B2B contract • 25 paid days off (B2B/UZ) • Flexible working hours • Possibility of working 100% remotely • Personal educational budget: conferences, courses, workshops, and more • Private medical care • Multisport Plus+ member card or cinema tickets • MultiLife package • All necessary equipment such as MacBook, additional monitor and accessories
