Senior Backend Engineer - Finance Tech

Nasze wymagania: Strong background in backend development, with a focus on microservices and distributed systems Proven ability to build event-driven architectures using messaging technologies such as Kafka, or AWS SQS/SNS Proficiency in JVM based languages (Kotlin/Java) is preferred; experience with Spring and willingness to learn Kotlin is also welcome. Practical knowledge of Docker, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and CI/CD implementation Solid foundation in testing practices, including both unit and end-to-end testing Deep understanding of relational databases Familiarity with AI tools, GitOps, and Python (e.g., Streamlit for monitoring dashboards) is a plus Zakres obowiązków: Work on the architecture, design, development, deployment and operations of the microservices you will develop, using DevOps practices, pair programming and other cutting-edge methodologies. Be an active, solution-oriented member of autonomous, cross-functional agile teams collaborating with Product Owners, Front-end Engineers and a number of different stakeholders involved in our projects. Develop an in-depth understanding of HelloFresh’s core product and architecture, and act as an ambassador for software solutions, offering support and guidance to colleagues. Drive the design and implementation of backend services to build integrations for core financial systems, such as Oracle and Workday, and unify order flows across global entities. Work with state-of-the-art technologies like Kotlin, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and more.
