Senior Backend Engineer with Infrastructure Experience

We are seeking a collaborative and curious Engineer to help drive and develop our VCS infrastructure forward. Main Responsibilities• Execute on our clients future VCS infrastructure strategy that is able to serve 3000+ engineers doing 100’s of thousands of builds daily and beyond. • Support with operational tasks keeping our systems healthy and up to date. • Develop backend systems to enable automate and enable the developers software more efficiently. • Drive the automation and improvements of our chosen VCS across our current technical stacks. • Collaborate with Infrastructure teams across the company to discover what a best-in-class VCS infrastructure means. Key Requirements• 6+ years of experience in building and implementing large-scale systems across various projects and teams. • Experienced Software Engineer with Java. • Linux system experience. • AI experience is a must - we will be working on AI tooling as well. • Experience deploying to and implementing solutions in GCP or AWS. • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for software engineering best practices such as testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. • HTTP / networking experience. • Github (Administration / Operations) and Gitlab experience would be advantageous (if they don’t have Github). • Strong Git expertise. • Data experience - would be helpful. Nice to Have• Skills in Kubernetes. Other DetailsWorkplace: Stockholm - 2-3 days onsite. Length: 6 months with extension.
