Senior EIS Developer

Tech stack: Java, EIS Digital Insurance Platform (PolicyCore, BillingCore, ClaimCore), REST APIs Requirements: • Strong commercial experience as a Java Developer or EIS Developer • Hands-on experience with EIS Digital Insurance Platform • Experience working with core insurance systems • Strong knowledge of Java and backend development • Experience with REST APIs and system integrations • Understanding of insurance domain processes (policy administration, billing, claims) • Experience in enterprise application development • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Experience working in Agile development environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with international and cross-functional teams • Very good English communication skills (B2/C1) Nice to have: • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) • Experience with microservices architecture • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD pipelines • Experience with data processing or large-scale enterprise systems • Experience working in consulting environments or client-facing projects • German language skills Project description: We are looking for an experienced EIS Senior Developer to join international projects in the insurance sector, supporting the development and implementation of modern core insurance platforms. In this role, you will work on large-scale transformation programs, helping insurance companies modernize their systems using the EIS Digital Insurance Platform. Main responsibilities: • Design, develop and maintain solutions based on the EIS Digital Insurance Platform • Implement and customize modules such as PolicyCore, BillingCore and ClaimCore • Develop backend components using Java and modern enterprise frameworks • Participate in system architecture design and technical solution discussions • Support integration of EIS with external systems and services • Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions • Collaborate with business analysts, architects and QA teams • Participate in code reviews, testing and deployment processes • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex enterprise environments
