Senior Fullstack Engineer

O projekcie: As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll join our Risk & Capital team, the business charter building the foundation for how we understand and manage risk across Hippo. Your work will focus on creating the data infrastructure we currently lack – building integrations, microservices, and data pipelines to connect us with industry-standard risk and capital models and tools. This is a long-term greenfield project where you’ll tackle complex, large-scale data challenges with a modern tech stack, collaborate closely with a talented team, and develop deep expertise in the insurance carrier domain. Wymagania: We might be a match if you… - Have 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, backend-oriented fullstack (approx. 70% backend / 30% frontend) with strong experience in TypeScript, NestJS, and complex databases. - Have experience working with large databases, as well as experience with data warehouses. - Have experience with building React applications from the ground up with performant state management. - Have experience with NextJS. - Understand and apply software development best practices (from clean code to testing and maintainability). - Take ownership of your work, showing accountability and a drive to deliver impactful solutions. - Have proven recored of leading other technical members. - Are a great partner for product, analytics, and business teams. - Actively participate in discussions, sharing ideas and contributing to team decisions. - Seek feedback and mentorship for continuous growth. - Have a great command of English (written & spoken) and Polish, but also excellent communication skills in general. - Are available to work in the afternoon hours, including occasional evening meetings due to U.S. time zone collaboration (we respect work-life balance but prioritize effective communication) You will get extra points for:  - Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
