Senior Java Backend Developer

📌 We’re seeking, on behalf of our client, an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join their fast-paced team in the financial/payments industry. 📍 This is a hybrid role with 4 days remote and 1 day in-office (Warsaw or Gdańsk). Job Description: • Expertise with the Java 8 platform or higher • Solid experience in frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate • Good knowledge in creating microservices along with Kafka background • Development experience in building Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML • Deep understanding of SOA principles and Web Services technologies: REST & SOAP • Experience with Relational or NoSQL database • Exposure to containerization and container orchestration technology • Exposure to messaging and distributed technology • Experience in React or Advanced JavaScript • Experience in Docker, GIT, Maven, Jenkins or similar build automation tools Roles and Responsibilities: • Designing and implementing backend systems • Developing microservices and APIs • Participating in architecture reviews focused on optimizing • Debugging, profiling, and optimizing applications, including prompt execution paths, model inference, and external API integration • Writing technical documentation Qualification and Years of Experience Needed: • Minimum 7+ yrs of experience ✅ What we offer: • Hybrid work: 4 days remote + 1 day in Warsaw or Gdańsk office • Work on large-scale, impactful projects in the finance/ payments industry • Collaborate with distributed global teams • Opportunity to grow and learn in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment 📩 If you’re interested and meet the qualifications, please send your CV to Alina Pchelnikova at alina.pchelnikova@dcvtechnologies.co.uk
